Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Quarry Technician to join our mining team. This multi-skilled role operates mobile equipment to extract rock and support site safety and efficiency.

You will work outdoors on a two-shift schedule, weekends required, and perform routine maintenance, monitor quality, document activities, and collaborate with a safety-conscious crew to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must work outdoors, on two shifts, weekends required.
• Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE, including respirators.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment to mine rock (e.g., rock drills, wheel loaders, bulldozer, haul trucks, water trucks, motor grader, fuel tanker, hydraulic rock breaker).
• Perform mechanical maintenance check-outs and minor preventive maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Monitor quality issues and adjust mining patterns based on feedback.
• Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in team activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
