Amrize is seeking a skilled Quarry Driller to operate mobile drilling equipment at our Millville, WV quarry. You will safely drill blast holes, follow approved layouts, and maintain records while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

We require a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of rotary drilling experience in quarry or similar settings. 2nd shift availability is required, with 8–10 hour shifts and start times from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years drilling equipment experience in quarry or similar.
• Ability to work 2nd shift 1:00pm–3:00pm start, 8–10 hour shifts.
• Experience operating rotary drill rigs.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Operate mobile drilling equipment to drill blast holes safely.
• Follow blast-hole layouts and drilling designs.
• Position drill rig to meet hole locations, depths, angles and spacing.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Maintain drilling logs and production records.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
