Job summary

Amrize is seeking a 2nd shift Quarry Driller to operate mobile drilling equipment at our Millville, WV quarry, drilling blast holes per plan while following safety protocols and production schedules.

You will perform pre/post-shift inspections, routine maintenance, record logs, and coordinate with the Drilling Manager to meet production targets safely in varying weather conditions; requires 2–5 years of quarry drilling experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years drilling experience in quarry or similar setting.
• Ability to operate rotary drill rigs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile drilling equipment to drill blast holes per plan.
• Follow approved layouts, patterns, and drilling designs.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report hazards.
• Maintain drilling logs and production records accurately.
• Coordinate with supervision to meet production targets safely.
