Job summary

Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in San Francisco seeks a Quantum Lead to drive growth & innovation by integrating quantum research into scalable business solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape the GTM strategy, and manage ecosystem partnerships to deliver enterprise-grade quantum offerings.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a related field, multiple years of cryptography/quantum experience, and 5–7 years of consulting leadership, with travel up to 10% and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Quantum Physics, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Cryptography, or related field with 7 years of related experience.
• Alternative: PhD in Quantum Physics, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Cryptography, or related field with 6 years of related experience.
• 6 years of experience in advanced cryptography for quantum cybersecurity technologies.
• 6 years of consulting experience in a professional services firm or large accounting firm.
• 6 years of experience using enterprise architecture best practices addressing scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• 6 years of experience communicating complex quantum and cryptographic concepts to technical and business audiences.
• 5 years of experience driving innovation from research to production and commercialization.
• 5 years of engagement leadership, managing partnerships and client relationships at executive level.
• 5 years of leading teams on multiple projects and guiding team members.
• 5 years of presenting to executive level client stakeholders.
• Up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive quantum strategy and integrate quantum computing research into scalable business solutions.
• Provide leadership across technical, strategic, and client-facing functions to deliver quantum capabilities.
• Lead GTM and commercialization strategy for quantum technologies with Global Markets and alliance partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ecosystem partners to expand GTM activities.
• Manage and mentor a team of quantum technologists to drive innovation aligned with strategic goals.
