Q-CTRL, a leading quantum software company, seeks a Senior Government Engagement leader to drive US government policy and funding initiatives. You will build bipartisan relationships with congressional offices, federal agencies, and state governments, translating technical capabilities into government-ready solutions and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in government, congressional affairs, public policy, or government relations.
• Track record of shaping government decisions with durable policy outcomes.
• Strong understanding of US federal policymaking, authorization, appropriations, and budgeting.
• Established network across Capitol Hill, the executive branch, and federal departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating technical info for government audiences.
• Collaborative, cross-functional approach to raise Q-CTRL’s profile and opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute US government engagement strategy with policy, legislative, and funding outcomes.
• Build bipartisan relationships with congressional offices, departments, and state governments.
• Represent company interests in political and policy forums, including USG business development.
• Shape policy and funding decisions through proposals for authorization and appropriations.
• Identify and secure government funding and partnerships aligning with government priorities.
• Monitor policy developments and translate into timely advice for leadership.
• Represent Q-CTRL in industry associations, think tanks, and policy forums to build coalitions.
• Perform other duties within experience with reasonable training.
