Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Manager of Government Affairs to advance the company’s U.S. federal government strategy at the intersection of quantum technology, national security, space, energy, research, and critical infrastructure.

The role reports to the Vice President of Government Affairs and supports congressional engagement, appropriations/authorization activity, agency outreach, policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, and executive briefing preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering, science, public policy, or international relations.
• 5+ years of experience in government affairs, congressional/public policy, or national security.
• Strong understanding of federal budget, appropriations, authorization, and legislative processes.
• Ability to translate technical priorities into policy narratives for diverse audiences.
• Excellent writing, editing, and briefing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tracking systems for congressional, agency, and regulatory activity relevant to Infleqtion.
• Analyze federal legislation, budget activity, and policy developments; summarize implications and next steps.
• Support congressional engagement plans and outreach to offices, staff, and agencies.
• Prepare briefings, memos, talking points, and engagement plans for internal/external audiences.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align policy opportunities with business priorities.
• Assist with appropriations and authorization efforts, including draft requests and letters of support.
• Plan congressional meetings, Hill days, and industry stakeholder events.
• Maintain operating rhythm for government affairs priorities and records.
• Represent Infleqtion in external meetings and prepare executives for engagements.
