Job summary

Quantinuum, headquartered in Colorado, seeks a Senior Director to lead the U.S. Government Quantum Hardware Strategy in the Broomfield area. This executive role shapes hardware priorities, roadmaps, and collaborations across federal agencies, national laboratories, and defense laboratories.

You will drive portfolio planning, engage with government programs, and translate mission needs into hardware requirements and milestones for government deployment and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum.
• 12+ years of post‑education experience in quantum computing, advanced computing, semiconductor systems, electronics, cryogenics, hardware engineering, technical strategy, product leadership, or government program development.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the United States as business needs require.
• Due to contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder).
• National security restrictions apply to non-U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a U.S.-focused quantum hardware strategy informed by federal priorities and roadmaps.
• Translate priorities into a hardware engagement portfolio with milestones and business impact.
• Prioritize opportunities across DOE, DoD, NIST, and defense labs to diversify the portfolio.
• Define portfolio KPIs for hardware performance, reliability, and adoption.
• Coordinate with product and technical leaders to align requirements and investments.
