Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a self-motivated Project Manager to deliver an advanced quantum computing platform in Illinois. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, vendor, and customer teams to translate plans into an executable roadmap.

You’ll lead integrated project plans, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and ensure delivery from planning through installation, commissioning, acceptance, and documentation, while communicating progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, or related field.
• Typically 4+ years managing technical, engineering, hardware, infrastructure, or complex R&D projects.
• Experience owning schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to understand complex technical work and communicate impacts clearly.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar PM tools.
• Ability to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated project plan, including milestones, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Partner with technical leads to align plans with requirements and deadlines.
• Identify critical paths and help deliver on time and budget.
• Coordinate execution across technical, operations, supply chain, IT, facilities, and commercial teams.
• Lead project communications, provide status reporting, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate site readiness, procurement, installation, commissioning, and documentation.
