Job summary

LSEG's Customer Consulting team seeks a Business Consultant to help customers solve challenges with our financial data and product workflows. You will support the sales team with in-depth product knowledge and collaborate with internal teams to address customer requirements.

Responsibilities include leading pre-sales discussions, capturing technical/data requirements, delivering product demonstrations, documenting workflows, and helping create proofs of concept and RFP responses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and quant/data-driven workflows.
• Proven record of supporting the sale of product solutions in sophisticated environments.
• Knowledge of LSEG’s Quantitative Data Solutions products is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HTTP, REST, FTP, cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Databricks), and data formats (Parquet, JSON, XML).
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Proficient in conveying information; articulate speaker with strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers during pre-sales.
• Collect customer-specific technical and data requirements through meetings.
• Document customer workflow and requirements clearly.
• Craft efficient solutions using available products.
• Communicate detailed technical solutions to the customer.
• Run product demonstrations and present product capabilities.
• Supervise content checks for data and fields.
• Contribute to proofs of concept, RFP responses, and SOWs.
• Coordinate with Sales and Product teams.
• Work with team members to deliver custom integration projects.
