Job summary

TruStile Doors is seeking a Training Coordinator for the Northwood, IA plant to support the Quality team. You will develop and train production associates on current and new products while ensuring quality standards and procedures are followed.

You will own the training systems, skills matrices, trainer qualifications, onboarding effectiveness, and workforce competency development, partnering with Operations to ensure a safe, capable, and compliant workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing, quality, training, leadership, or related experience.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and influence across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Platform tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site training programs.
• Administer and maintain skills matrices.
• Manage employee certifications and recertifications.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and buddy programs.
• Conduct 30/60/90-day follow-up reviews.
• Maintain training records and compliance metrics.
• Develop training plans, work instructions, and standardized materials.
• Develop one-point lessons in response to quality concerns.
• Deliver classroom, hands-on and on-the-job training.
• Support new product training launches.
• Ensure training content reflects current standards.
• Develop trainer certification and recertification requirements.
• Lead Train-the-Trainer initiatives and evaluator feedback.
• Conduct trainer audits and maintain records.
• Provide coaching and development plans for trainers.
• Identify training gaps through audits and reviews.
• Support career progression and competency plans.
• Partner with supervisors on workforce readiness.
• Facilitate skills matrix reviews and presentations.
• Participate in process and product audits.
• Coordinate retraining from quality concerns.
• Promote compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain training databases and dashboards.
• Create reports using Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps.
• Monitor training KPIs and provide leadership recommendations.
