Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and do math at a high school level.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Good communication and cooperation/team-work with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain good attendance.
• Ability to distinguish color and patterns.
• Overtime and varying shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, finished product and work in progress.
• Identify and report quality results and trends to Quality Supervisor.
• Promote a quality mindset and quality excellence approach.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions for QC tasks.
• Record and document quality data and non-conformities promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection stations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Recommend and assist in development of quality standards and procedures.
• Additional duties may be assigned by Management.
