Job summary

The QA Inspector will perform in-process testing, review batch records, and support the QC Lab with documentation, identify non-conformances, and report results to the QA Manager. Attention to detail and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 2+ years of QA experience in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with MDI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process testing (weight, thickness, hardness, disintegration, friability, etc.) per batch records.
• Conduct room and equipment checks before each stage of manufacturing by following detailed written procedures.
• Execute acceptable quality limit (AQL) sampling and inspections as required.
• Inspect in-process and finished product samples for the QC Lab and document results.
• Maintain records of standard weights and daily balance verifications.
• Ensure isolation of rejected material and accountability in batch records.
• Monitor facility and product environmental operating conditions.
• Review records such as temperature/humidity data calibration and PM records.
• Assess online batch records for completeness before next step.
• Verify equipment functionality during batch runs.
• Prepare reports for customer complaints.
• Identify and report non-conformances to management.
• Complete other duties or participate in project work as assigned.
