Job summary

Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor/Trainer for a full-time, direct-hire role in Grand Rapids, MI. The role supports quality systems and ensures consistent inspection and training practices on the 3rd shift.

You will train inspection personnel, perform material and product inspections, document results, and communicate quality requirements to staff. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in quality inspection, auditing, or manufacturing preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Ability to train and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Train new and existing inspection personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Perform inspections of incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Conduct in-process and dock audits of inspectors' work.
• Approve or reject work based on audit findings.
• Provide feedback and communicate quality requirements to inspection personnel.
• Document audit results and maintain quality records and reports.
• Assist with retention and organization of approved quality samples.
• Interpret and apply inspection requirements for a variety of products.
• Verify part identification, packaging, and labeling requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding quality concerns as needed.
• Perform gauging and measurement of incoming and outgoing product.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001 QMS and ISO 14001 EMS standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
