Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in Decatur, IL to lead corrective actions for customer and internal quality events and to drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. The role supports built-in quality initiatives and customer relationships within manufacturing engineering.

• Lead timely Emergency, Interim and Permanent corrective actions for both Customer and internal quality events across disciplines.
• Act as ambassador, coach and sub-workstream lead for E2E Built in Quality.
• Lead quality improvement projects using Office 365 tools.
• Provide Internal Continuous Improvement support.
• Manage internal & external Customer relationships with Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Apply 6 Sigma and 8D methodologies.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Inspect, contain, and communicate data to factory quality teams while actively engaging in RCCA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Leading timely Emergency, Interim and Permanent corrective actions for both Customer and internal quality events collaborating across disciplines.
• An ambassador, coach and sub-workstream lead for E2E Built in Quality.
• Quality improvement project leadership utilizing Office 365 tools.
• Internal Continuous Improvement support.
• Internal & external Customer contact and relationship management in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Exercise a variety of tools and techniques; 6 Sigma and 8D.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 2 years
• Degree requirement: BS Preferred; Associate Degree – 5 years

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Good working knowledge of Quality Standards and Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience of applying 8D or similar structured problem-solving techniques in a manufacturing environment.
• A professional approach and capable of communicating effectively
