Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes at our Athens, GA site. You will design tooling, supervise process improvements, and ensure quality while supporting management decisions.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience, a practical understanding of lean manufacturing, and strong decision-making skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, relocation support, and a year-end bonus based on company performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support management decisions.
• Design / direct the acquisition, design, fabrication and repair of all necessary tooling and machines.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day process issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements.
• Monitor all exchange and in-house requirements.
• Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers.
• Perform quality checks on machines.
• Analyze and deploys engineering change notices.
• Establish and maintain bill of materials and work orders.
• Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements; and
• Provide day-to-day coaching duties in absence of team leader.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 0-2 years experience preferred.
• Master's degree is overqualified

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
