Coherent Corp. is seeking a Quality Technician at our Newark, Delaware facility to inspect ceramic composites and components, generate data sheets, and ensure customer quality requirements are met.

The role involves frequent measurement using CMMs and hand tools, plus documentation in certificates of conformance. The position requires 2+ years in QA inspection or related training, and preferred experience with Zeiss Calypso, PowerInspect or PCDMIS.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with CMMs and precision measurement tools.
• Strong basic metrology concepts and measurement skills.

Responsabilités

• Inspect products and components for conformance to specifications.
• Generate inspection data, sheets and certificates of conformance.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Calibrate measurement tools and participate in calibration programs.
• Interact with customers through inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow SOPs, PCPs and work instructions.
