Job summary
Reader Precision Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician with a metrology focus to develop, program, and optimize inspection systems including Zeiss CMMs, Keyence, Oasis, and others. You will ensure efficient, accurate quality inspection and train staff on system use.
Responsibilities include creating, refining, and documenting inspection routines from engineering drawings and specifications, troubleshooting metrology software and hardware, and collaborating with engineering and production to
Qualifications
- 2+ years of metrology programming or quality systems experience.
- Experience with CMMs (Calypso) and other metrology equipment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Responsibilities
- Program, optimize, and maintain Zeiss CMMs and other inspection systems.
- Develop inspection routines from engineering drawings and specs.
- Create and document work instructions for equipment usage.
- Train staff on inspection equipment and best practices.
- Troubleshoot software/hardware issues in quality labs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to validate setups.
- Support FAI and production validation processes.
- Stay current with metrology software advancements.
