Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product conformance across manufacturing stages. You will inspect parts, record test data, and prepare reports to verify compliance with standards.

You may calibrate tools and operate precision equipment such as CMMs and profilometers, supporting MRB activities as needed. The role requires the ability to read blueprints, use measurement tools, and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurement data.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Interprets engineering drawings, schematics, or standards to inspect or test product for conformance.
• Records test data and applies SPC procedures where applicable.
• Documents reports to validate deviations from standards.
• Supports calibration of tools and gauges.
• Operates measurement equipment (CMMs, profilometer, hardness tester, optical comparators, gauges).
• Coordinates MRB activities or supports containment/sorting as directed by leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
