Job summary

The Arkema Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a laboratory technician to conduct quality control testing using laboratory equipment and approved procedures, and to accurately enter results into SAP within required timelines. You will investigate out-of-spec results, support root cause analysis with production, maintain calibration, and manage sample inventories while ensuring compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior laboratory experience required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, with preference given to chemistry, biology, engineering, or related disciplines.
• Basic statistical knowledge preferred, including SPC, control charts, Cp/ Cpk, and standard deviation concepts.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

• Prioritize, perform, document, and report testing activities while maintaining data integrity and compliance with laboratory procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment calibration, sample management, retain inventories, and nonconforming material processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with production teams to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
