Job summary

The Arkema Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician in New Jersey to perform quality control testing, document results, and maintain calibration of laboratory equipment. You will enter data into SAP and collaborate with production to resolve issues, supporting continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have lab experience, a relevant degree, and strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.

Qualifications

  • Prior laboratory experience required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in chemistry, biology, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Basic statistical knowledge including SPC, control charts, Cp/Cpk, and standard deviation concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control testing using laboratory equipment and approved procedures and accurately enter results into SAP within required timelines.
  • Investigate out-of-specification results, support root cause analysis, and partner with production and other functions to resolve quality issues.
  • Prioritize, perform, document, and report testing activities while maintaining data integrity and compliance with laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment calibration, sample management, retain inventories, and nonconforming material processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with production teams to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
