Job summary

Technique is seeking a Quality Technician 3 at our Michigan facility to inspect components and finished products using CMMs and PolyWorks, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements. The role reports to the Quality Manager and focuses on creating quality records, leading continuous improvement, and coordinating with customers and vendors on quality issues.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on quality control experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and experience in an ISO 9000

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on quality control in manufacturing or engineering.
• Proven CMM experience and ability to write PolyWorks inspection programs.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ISO 9000 environment.
• Familiarity with PPAP, MSA/Gage R&R, SPC (Minitab), and calibration software.
• Ability to train and mentor others on metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure product to determine compliance with engineering requirements.
• Maintain quality records, data, and metrics for quality assurance.
• Disposition nonconforming product and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop procedures for quality system compliance.
• Lead quality/continuous improvement projects.
• Meet customer and vendor quality requirements with account managers and purchasing.
