Job summary

AUTOKINITON, a Michigan-based automotive supplier, is seeking a Quality Technician for its Milan, MI facility. This full-time, on-site role is part of the Quality Team and reports to the Quality Manager.

You will read GD&T blueprints, perform CMM-based part layouts, and support PPAP submissions to ensure dimensional conformity and process capability. Preferred candidates hold an associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years of CMM experience (PCDMIS) and familiarity with MQ1/QAD databases.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• 2+ minimum related experience operating a CMM using PCDMIS or training
• Experience with MQ1 and QAD databases preferred

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances per ANSI/ASME GD&T standards.
• Perform in-depth part layout using direct drive CMM and bench layout.
• Conduct capability studies and gauge R&R analyses.
• Certify check fixtures and log data into MQ1 database.
• Support PPAP submissions and ensure part conformity to drawings.
