Job summary

Die Technology is seeking a Quality Technician III to ensure products meet quality standards through metrology inspections on CMMs and other tools. You will document results, support nonconforming product handling, and help maintain ISO 9001 records on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, and knowledge of metrology equipment; a CNC machining background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Knowledge of metrology equipment and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with CMM programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and run production inspections on CMMs, vision systems, or other metrology tools.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision-machined components.
• Conduct in-process inspections on the production floor to verify conformance during machining.
• Complete accurate inspection documentation and Certificates of Conformance (COC).
• Manage nonconforming product and maintain ISO 9001 records.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and vendors to troubleshoot quality issues.
