Job summary

MPE, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Quality Technician III to lead advanced inspections, program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines, and resolve complex measurement issues.

This role oversees PPAP documentation, calibration schedules, MRB participation, and mentoring junior technicians while serving as a technical expert for audits, corrective actions and final product release criteria. Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in a quality role with sheet metal or CNC experience.
• Blueprint reading and measurement tools required.
• Advanced GD&T and CMM experience.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CMM; solve advanced inspection issues.
• Lead PPAP document preparation for new components; perform FAI.
• Validate release criteria and sign off on final inspections.
• Oversee calibration schedules and disposition of nonconforming parts.
• Lead internal/external audits, CAPA projects, and improvement efforts.
