Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC in United States, Ohio, Wilmington is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to enforce food safety within the Quality Monitoring Scheme and perform hourly checks on production lines.

You will ensure compliance with HACCP, allergen, sanitation, GMP, and hold procedures, maintain specimens, complete paperwork, and support product trials while keeping operations confidential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 3 months of experience as a Quality Assurance Technician required.
• 1 year of experience as QA Technician or in a technical department preferred.
• Detail oriented with ability to spot defects on fast-moving lines.
• Able to understand machinery operation related to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly quality checks on production lines (typically 3 lines).
• Verify product meets legal and customer requirements per Bluebook.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Maintain instrumentation and label/store samples.
• Follow Hold Procedures for non-conforming materials.
• Conduct HACCP and Preventive Controls checks as needed.
• Support tests and new product trials.
• Conduct audits or inspections as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Uphold 5-S and confidentiality of operations.
