Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance within the Quality Monitoring Scheme. You will conduct hourly quality checks on production lines, identify discrepancies, and liaise with supervisors to uphold HACCP and GMP standards.

Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness, completing paperwork, protecting confidentiality, and supporting test runs and audits as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of QA experience required.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly quality checks on production lines (often 3 lines).
• Report discrepancies to Supervisor or Quality Manager (HACCP, Allergen, GMPs, Holds).
• Ensure products meet legal and customer requirements per Bluebook.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain 5-S and clean work areas.
• Label and store samples and retentions properly.
• Follow Hold Procedures for non-conforming materials.
