Job summary

Ferrara Candy Co. is seeking a Quality Technician in Forest Park, IL to ensure every product meets our high standards for quality and food safety. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will partner with production teams to perform checks, identify issues, and uphold established standards.

You will adhere to GMPs, follow safety practices, and participate in inspections and audits. A 1-year background in food quality is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of quality experience within a food manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies, GMPs and safe working practices.
• Perform quality checks and communicate issues to production teams.
• Conduct daily checks, inspections, and maintain packaging documentation.
• Review out-of-specification products and assist with inspections as needed.
