Job summary

Integra Mission Critical, LLC. is seeking a Quality Technician Electrical to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electrical products during factory assembly in Houston, TX.

You will verify part numbers, ratings, and BOMs, inspect panels, wiring, and terminations, and maintain traceable inspection records. The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and clear communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, BOMs.
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment panels, wiring, conduits.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electrical products or equipment using inspection points and checklists.
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, ratings against drawings and BOMs.
• Inspect panels, wiring, cables, conduits, supports, grounding, bonding.
• Ensure equipment location, orientation, mounting, clearances, protection from damage.
• Inspect cable/wire type, size, routing, labeling; verify terminations and torque marks.
• Identify and document nonconforming or rejected products; halt processing as needed.
• Complete inspection records with traceability to the inspected unit.
• Communicate findings and risks to appropriate personnel.

The Opportunity

The Quality Technician Electrical performs incoming in process andor final inspections of electrical products or equipment during factory assembly The position follows established inspection points and checklists to verify that electrical equipment panels wiring cables conduits connections and completed work meet approved drawings bills of material internal standards electrical requirements and customer requirements

What you will do

• Perform incoming in process andor final inspections of assigned electrical products or equipment according to established inspection points and checklists
• Verify electrical equipment and components against part numbers serial numbers ratings drawings and bills of material
• Inspect panels controls wiring cables conduits supports grounding bonding and related assemblies
• Verify equipment location orientation mounting clearances condition and protection from damage
• Inspect cable and wire type size gauge routing support identification and labeling
• Inspect terminations connections lugs fittings hardware specified torque and required torque marks
• Inspect conduit type size routing support fittings bends entries bonding and workmanship
• Verify that required electrical inspections and tests have been completed and documented by qualified personnel
• Inspect electrical panels and equipment for loose hardware wire clippings metal shavings debris and other foreign material
• Inspect equipment and components for damage before during and after assembly
• Complete inspection checklists and records accurately and maintain traceability to the inspected unit
• Identify document and clearly mark nonconforming or rejected product to prevent unintended use continued processing energization or release
• Support containment by checking whether similar conditions are present on other components circuits panels or units
• Verify corrections and confirm that open nonconformances are resolved or formally dispositioned before final acceptance
• Inspect multiple assigned units while maintaining inspection quality and documentation accuracy
• Perform inspections and report results with accuracy objectivity and integrity regardless of production schedules or delivery pressure
• Communicate inspection findings nonconformances and product risks clearly and promptly to the appropriate personnel

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One or more years of electrical assembly wiring panel building testing or inspection experience preferred
• Relevant electrical product or assembly experience may be considered when formal inspection experience is limited
• Basic ability to read electrical drawings schematics bills of material work instructions and inspection checklists
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment panels wiring cables conduits terminations grounding and bonding
• Ability to verify equipment using part numbers serial numbers ratings and approved documentation
• Ability to recognize visible defects damage incorrect components incomplete work and poor workmanship
• Ability to complete accurate inspection records and maintain product traceability
• Strong attention to detail communication teamwork dependability and safety awareness
• Ability to perform routine inspections independently and request assistance when requirements are unclear

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical trade school training electrical certificate apprenticeship or associate degree in a related field preferred
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers to access drawings and documentation complete inspection records and communicate inspection results preferred
