Job summary

Integra Mission Critical, LLC. is seeking a skilled Team Lead in Houston, TX to oversee mechanical teams and ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery. You will interpret drawings, coordinate work orders, and coach team members to meet safety and performance standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to safety regulations, and effective communication within cross-functional teams to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role overseeing mechanical teams.
• Ability to establish methods and procedures for installation of mechanical components, equipment and instruments.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and measurement tools.
• Excellent command of English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Location Houston TX Department DEPTEC The Opportunity Team Leads are responsible for overseeing teams of employees and motivating them to complete their job duties effectively They will know every aspect of the mechanical building process for projects they are responsible for and be capable of sharing that knowledge with team members

What you will do

• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and communicate requirements to work teams
• Identify and report discrepancies and control drawings
• Troubleshooting of mechanical and assembly process
• Ensure project schedule milestones are met
• Communicate clear instructions and coaching of the work team to ensure all cost quality and schedule requirements are met
• Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Manage all work orders associated with assembly tracks assigns and monitors work orders
• Plans resource requirements based on work orders and production plan
• Fosters a spirit of teamwork within the department
• Ensure timeliness safety and quality of material movement
• Responsible for safe work practices maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring work crews follow safe practices and HSE programs including Lock out Tag out
• In conjunction with the supervision and Safety Department trains employees in changes in safety regulations work policies and standards
• Develops skills and abilities of team members
• Ensure all department employees complete required training
• Ensure work is completed accurately and documented on QC checklists
• Assist team members in recording labor to time sheets into company ERP system
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company its core values and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meetingexceeding customer requirements and expectations
• Ensure maintenance of a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 3 5 years of experience
• Ability to establish effective methods and procedures for installation of mechanical components equipment and instruments
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and measurement tools
• Ability to perform basic math
• Good command of the English language both written and verbal is a requirement
• Experience in supervising the work of others and the ability to effectively coach and lead team members
• Practical experience in mechanical assembly
• Ability to manage people and make decisions
• Knowledge of team leading practices and techniques
• Ability to effectively coordinate and oversee multiple work orders
• Commitment to the concept of continual improvement effective quality management systems and safe work practices
• Understanding the production and work order process
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Factory experience required
• Physical fitness and strength to lift 30 50 lbs regularly
• Regularly required to stand bend crouch and reach
• Excellent hand eye coordination
• Excellent attention to detail with strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to motivate others to achieve a goal
• Lead by example demonstrates strong work ethic can do attitude great attendance and excellent safety awareness
