Job summary

Integra Mission Critical, LLC. in Houston seeks an experienced Team Lead to supervise assembly and mechanical tasks, coach team members, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will interpret drawings, plan resources, monitor work orders, and foster continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture and hands-on leadership. This role requires 3–5 years of supervising mechanical assembly and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience
• Ability to establish effective methods and procedures for installation of mechanical components equipment and instruments
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and measurement tools
• Ability to perform basic math
• Good command of the English language both written and verbal is a requirement
• Experience in supervising the work of others and the ability to effectively coach and lead team members
• Practical experience in mechanical assembly
• Ability to manage people and make decisions
• Knowledge of team leading practices and techniques
• Ability to effectively coordinate and oversee multiple work orders
• Commitment to continual improvement effective quality management systems and safe work practices
• Understanding the production and work order process
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Factory experience required
• Physical fitness and strength to lift 30-50 lbs regularly

Responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and communicate requirements to work teams
• Identify and report discrepancies and control drawings
• Troubleshooting of mechanical and assembly process
• Ensure project schedule milestones are met
• Communicate clear instructions and coaching of the work team to ensure all cost quality and schedule requirements are met
• Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Manage all work orders associated with assembly tracks assigns and monitors work orders
• Plans resource requirements based on work orders and production plan
• Fosters a spirit of teamwork within the department
• Ensure timeliness safety and quality of material movement
• Responsible for safe work practices maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring work crews follow safe practices and HSE programs including Lock out Tag out
• In conjunction with the supervision and Safety Department trains employees in changes in safety regulations work policies and standards
• Develops skills and abilities of team members
• Ensure all department employees complete required training
• Ensure work is completed accurately and documented on QC checklists
• Assist team members in recording labor to time sheets into company ERP system
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company its core values and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meetingexceeding customer requirements and expectations
• Ensure maintenance of a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned
