Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in York, PA is seeking a Night Shift Quality Technician to monitor CCPs, ensure food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process, and document records accurately. You will work with the production team on presses, slitter, lamination, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires working Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am with compensation starting at $22/hour plus a $1.25/hr shift differential, and a robust benefits package including vacation,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMPs (21CFR 110/111/210/211) is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management abilities are required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within processes.
• Oversee process quality and food safety throughout manufacturing.
• Document and file all relevant records and logs accurately.
• Ensure recipe guidelines are followed during processing.
• Educate employees on quality expectations and safety practices.
• Collect samples for the Quality lab and perform inspections on in-process printing.

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.
• Responsible for monitoring processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
• Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
• Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.
• Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected “real time” when feasible.
• Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP’s (21CFR 110/111/210/211).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software is essential.

• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
