Job description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to ensure that all products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This role is essential in supporting our quality assurance processes, from incoming inspections to final product verification.

As a Quality Technician you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver innovative solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (B.O.M.), and work instructions to validate product conformance.
  • Test products for a variety of characteristics, including dimensional accuracy, performance, and mechanical or electrical requirements.
  • Conduct operational audits to ensure employee compliance with established quality standards.
  • Train employees in quality processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to optimize quality and production standards, ensuring product requirements are clearly defined and achievable within equipment capabilities.
  • Perform disposition of suspect material, including development of rework instructions and proper documentation.
  • Calibrate and perform minor repairs on precision measurement equipment.
  • File and maintain inspection records and quality‑related documents.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve product‑related issues and manage return or replacement processes as needed.
  • Create or revise work instructions as necessary to support product and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a quality‑related role is preferred, though not required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and demonstrated mechanical aptitude are advantageous.
  • Proficient in using computers and capable of navigating various software programs and systems.
  • Able to read and follow work instructions, as well as adhere to quality and safety protocols.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks that require extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
