In this role you will assist in the development and implementation of clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions using computer and specially designed software.

We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to assist our Engineering department with products and systems involving design, testing, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment.
  • Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products.
  • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations.
  • Test prototypes and standard products and write reports to document the results.
  • Ability to work and communicate with personnel from various departments to coordinate the flow of information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate engineering requirements.
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
  • Ability to provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.
  • Assist with Engineering projects, goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Attending a two-year or four-year college with a Mechanical Design major or equivalent (Please provide a copy of your transcript).
  • Ability to demonstrate the knowledge of MRP systems; 3-D design software; Internet software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Experience with Auto Cad, Auto Desk Inventor and Microsoft Office a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be able to balance both team and individual responsibilities.
