Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a quality control leader responsible for finished goods evaluation, raw material specs, blown film testing, and product recordkeeping. This role directs the department to meet customer QC specs, follow SOPs, and ensure proper disposition of orders and products.

You will investigate complaints, coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and customers, and maintain comprehensive documentation of testing, records, and traceability in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 6+ years of QC leadership experience.
• Familiar with QC concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others with strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and leads local quality control efforts to ensure compliance with customer specifications and applications.
• Applies QA systems, procedures, and practices to document activities and maintain manufacturing records.
• Investigates complaints and represents the location on behalf of the plant.
• Ensures timely testing and training aligns with standards (e.g., ANSI/ASQC Q9001-2008 and ISO 9001).

• Applies QA systems, procedures, and practices to document all activities and maintain manufacturing recordkeeping.
• Investigates complaints and represents the location on behalf of the plant.
• Ensures timely testing and that the department is trained in the latest procedures aligned with customer specifications and corporate/industry standards (e.g., ANSI/ASQC Q9001-2008 and ISO 9001).

Minimum requirements

• Specialized training equivalent to a four-year degree and 6+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Familiar with a variety of QC concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; perform a variety of tasks; lead and direct the work of others; and exercise a high degree of creativity and latitude.
