Qualifications

Position Title: Quality Technician

Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

TheQuality Technicianrole is comprised of data analysis, observation verification, and investigation to ensure that we are providing our customers with the highest quality products.

Accountabilities:

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork skills.A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. This role works AM Shift (6AM-6PM on a 2-2-3 schedule).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in a science or management discipline preferred

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a quality environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting

  • Must currently hold or have the ability to complete Annual Quality Audit Certification

  • Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain SPC Certification

  • Must have basic knowledge of HACCP and general QC/GMP practices and procedures

  • Must have experience working with testing equipment such as scales, PH meter, salt analyzer, moisture analyzer, texture analyzer, etc.

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and with others

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, proportions, areas and volumes

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, must score 80% or better on QC math test

  • Ability to analyze data to understand the impact on processes and use it to make recommendations while maintaining confidentiality

  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Compensation Package:$25.57USD hourly+ bonuseligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
