Job Summary
Assist Quality, Research and Development (R&D), and Engineering teams to enhance product and process quality through strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Support and guide Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with company quality goals, processes, and business improvement efforts, including OEM quality audits, VOC analysis, and warranty parts return analysis, meeting FDA and Pride standards.
- Evaluate returned components and finished devices; provide findings and trend analyses for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Distribution Centers, and China Quality Team to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Update management on OEM compliance via performance ratings and report findings organization-wide.
- Act as a liaison between Quality and R&D to improve performance, reduce returns and complaints through root cause analysis and trending reports.
- Maintain test data, noting deviations from standards or specifications.
- Work with OEM manufacturers to improve product quality and process controls, identifying corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Develop rework processes for production, inspection, and distribution.
- Provide regular quality reports and conduct audits of facilities and suppliers.
- Serve as the safety representative for Quality, ensuring safety rules are followed and incidents reported.
- Complete required security and safety training.
- Focus on continuous improvement and demonstrate good business judgment.
- Work collaboratively across departments to exceed expectations.

Experience
- At least 1 year in quality or engineering, or 2 years at Pride with excellent performance.
- Experience with electronics and motors preferred.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate Degree in Engineering or Investigations and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
Qualifications
