Description

Salary: $51,480

Job Summary

Assist Quality, Research and Development (R&D), and Engineering teams to enhance product and process quality through strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Support and guide Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.
  2. Ensure compliance with company quality goals, processes, and business improvement efforts, including OEM quality audits, VOC analysis, and warranty parts return analysis, meeting FDA and Pride standards.
  3. Evaluate returned components and finished devices; provide findings and trend analyses for continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Distribution Centers, and China Quality Team to identify issues and develop solutions.
  5. Update management on OEM compliance via performance ratings and report findings organization-wide.
  6. Act as a liaison between Quality and R&D to improve performance, reduce returns and complaints through root cause analysis and trending reports.
  7. Maintain test data, noting deviations from standards or specifications.
  8. Work with OEM manufacturers to improve product quality and process controls, identifying corrective actions for non-conformities.
  9. Develop rework processes for production, inspection, and distribution.
  10. Provide regular quality reports and conduct audits of facilities and suppliers.
  11. Serve as the safety representative for Quality, ensuring safety rules are followed and incidents reported.
  12. Complete required security and safety training.
  13. Focus on continuous improvement and demonstrate good business judgment.
  14. Work collaboratively across departments to exceed expectations.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Experience with electronics and motors preferred.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree in Engineering or Investigations and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
Qualifications
