Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Packaging Validation Engineer to lead global packaging test method strategy and to manage the Piscataway Packaging Lab. You will collaborate across Colgate's network to ensure validation frameworks support product innovation, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires heavy engagement with equipment qualification, lab governance, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in packaging performance worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in Packaging Engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on experience in packaging development, validation protocols, and laboratory test method execution.
• Demonstrated experience with laboratory equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), data integrity compliance, and standard operating procedures in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the global strategy, creation, and evolution of test plans and methods for centralized rigor and predictive quality across all categories.
• Direct daily Piscataway Packaging Lab operations, budgets, data integrity, and long-term roadmaps; provide governance to global testing network.
• Partner with Quality and Safety teams on Packaging Materials of Concern, Tech Transfer, and environmental compliance.
• Oversee installation, operation, and IQ/OQ/PQ for new lab equipment; ensure digital LIMS and change controls.
• Lead internal audits, verification procedures, and global training for SOP compliance and tech transfer.
