Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors seeks a Team Leader, Quality in Middletown, CT to supervise the quality cell and drive program quality, cost control and continuous improvement. You will plan staffing, monitor budgets and ensure compliance with ISO 9000/AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities include leading process improvements, establishing performance metrics, and coordinating with engineering and production to meet schedule and quality goals. Strong manufacturing leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing/quality leadership role.
• Broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• ISO 9000/AS9100 knowledge or certification preferred.
• Manufacturing experience with 8+ years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of the quality cell and team members to meet program objectives.
• Manage program budgets, costs to complete and compliance with quality systems.
• Establish metrics to track quality, schedule, cost and continuous improvement.
• Plan manpower and monitor cost control through staffing and overtime decisions.
• Lead process improvement efforts to enhance program quality, cost and scheduling.
