Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and first article documentation. You will drive corrective actions, perform root cause analysis, and ensure ISO/AS9100 compliance across supplier base.

The role requires travel up to 25% to supplier sites, strong QA discipline, and the ability to manage supplier corrective action and supplier performance reporting to support defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.
• Experience in supplier quality and aerospace markets preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000/AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the supplier rating system and supplier inspections.
• Qualify and evaluate new suppliers and monitor performance.
• Lead supplier corrective actions and supplier corrective action processes.
• Coordinate Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and manage variance requests.
