Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking a Quality Systems Technician to help maintain our high standards of food safety and product quality. You will support our BRCGS certification and ensure we remain audit-ready, collaborating with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to meet our safety commitments.

The evening shift (3 PM–11 PM) and overnight shift (11 PM–7 AM) are available, emphasizing daily checks, CCP monitoring, and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Audit preparation and documentation for BRCGS and third-party audits
• Organize, file, and maintain all Food Safety and Quality Systems records
• Conduct daily production checks to verify product consistency (color, shape, size, packaging)
• Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Preventive Controls
• Report any quality issues promptly to the Quality Systems Supervisor
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GMPs
• Assist with sanitation documentation and monitoring activities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A self-starter with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
