Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Systems Supervisor to uphold our food safety and quality initiatives. You will maintain BRCGS certification, support audits, oversee sanitation, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure top quality and safety standards.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong food manufacturing quality background who enjoys cross-functional work and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality assurance or quality systems experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of BRCGS, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Previous experience preparing for or participating in third-party audits.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining BRCGS certification and annual audit requirements.
• Ensure the facility remains audit-ready for all third-party inspections.
• Maintain food safety documentation and quality records.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality, including appearance, size, texture, taste, packaging, and overall consistency.
• Supervise the Quality Systems Technician(s) and Sanitation Department.
• Order sanitation chemicals and supplies.
• Investigate quality concerns and assist with corrective actions.
• Promote a strong food safety and quality culture throughout the facility.
