Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Quality Manager for an established manufacturing client serving defense and aerospace markets in Dayton, OH. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive quality management experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Hands-on experience managing a certified quality system (AS9100/ISO).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline is a plus.
• AS9100 or ISO internal auditor or lead auditor credentials are a plus.
• Strong root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC, and continuous improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the quality system, ensuring AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Plan and manage registrar audits, internal audits, and surveillance activities.
• Maintain current procedures, forms, and quality records.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for internal and customer issues.
• Drive quality data analysis, trends, and action plans; build a quality roadmap.
• Verify product conformance to standards; participate in design reviews and NPI.
• Manage nonconforming product, complaints, and returns; partner with engineering to fix issues.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team; drive a quality-first culture.
