Job summary

Accelera in Hartford, CT seeks a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to direct quality functions in our manufacturing facility. You will refine the Quality Management System, uphold aerospace and manufacturing standards, and lead a team focused on maintaining product integrity and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Quality and at least 5 years in manufacturing QA, including leadership, with strong AS9100/ISO 9001 experience and CAPA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing quality experience, including leadership or supervision.
• Proven background with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality frameworks and audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of CAPA, 8D problem-solving, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily quality assurance tasks on the production floor.
• Sustain and improve the Quality Management System to meet ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
• Lead internal and supplier audits; manage remediation and actions.
• Drive root-cause analyses, implement preventive measures, and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues.
• Mentor quality staff and ensure audit-ready documentation.
