Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Cleveland, OH, seeks a Quality Systems Specialist to implement and improve quality systems in the Devices departments.

You will lead interviewing, hiring, and training employees, plan and direct work, and support process validation and corrective actions. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering, knowledge of cGMP and FDA manufacturing, and Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering is required.
• Good knowledge of quality systems and procedures.
• FDA manufacturing experience is required.
• Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality systems, processes and procedures in the Devices departments.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Support process validation, capability studies, and corrective actions.
• Perform defect/failure analyses and nonconformance investigations.
• Maintain and improve quality metrics and ensure compliance with Baxter procedures.
