Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. on the Naval Power Systems team in High Ridge, MO, is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and support quality systems and improvements across our hardware and software integration for naval programs.

You will lead audits, deploy root-cause actions, mentor junior engineers, review supplier quality, and collaborate with design and manufacturing to ensure conformance to military specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and Six Sigma tools.
• Ability to understand military specifications and read blueprints.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy quality plans translating customer requirements.
• Lead quality improvement teams and MRBs.
• Perform internal audits and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to assembly/test/inspection personnel.
• Analyze program requirements to ensure quality.
• Mentor junior quality engineers.
