Job summary

Oatey seeks a Quality Systems Engineer to create and sustain Quality systems at its manufacturing and distribution sites. You will train associates, manage the Internal Auditing Program, and report results to the Corporate Quality Systems Manager.

The role emphasizes resourceful problem solving, data-driven decisions, and compliance across sites. You will lead audits in accordance with the Quality Manual, communicate findings to stakeholders, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of QMS auditing experience in manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in audit techniques, documentation review and QC methods.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead QMS site assessments and gap analyses with site leaders.
• Implement and improve quality systems to meet standards.
• Manage site Internal Auditing program and train internal auditors.
• Plan and perform QMS audits per the Quality Manual.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Monitor effectiveness via management reviews and data.
• Provide guidance and training on quality processes; travel as needed.
