Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to create and implement Quality systems at manufacturing and distribution sites, training associates and managing the internal auditing program. The role emphasizes audits, data-driven improvements, and maintaining compliance with corporate standards.

You will perform QMS audits, report findings, and drive corrective actions while collaborating with site leadership and the Corporate Quality Systems Manager. Travel to other sites is expected quarterly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Operations or equivalent experience.
• ASQ Quality Engineer certification or AIAG training preferred.
• Professional certifications in quality management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• QMS site assessments and gap analyses.
• Implement and improve quality systems per standards.
• Manage site internal auditing program and train auditors.
• Plan and perform audits of the Quality Management System.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality management effectiveness and report results.
• Provide training on quality processes to associates.
• Travel to other sites quarterly for audits (2–5 days per trip).
