Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. seeks a Quality Systems Coordinator to maintain the Quality Assurance System for the seamless mill, including ISO 9001-2015/API-5CT and related records. The role covers audits, training, safety documentation, and ongoing quality improvements.

The ideal candidate has a science/engineering background, QA experience, and familiarity with QMS; CQAuditor certification is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with potential for growth within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent; metallurgy/materials/chemical/mechanical engineering preferred.
• Two years QA experience preferred.
• Familiar with Quality Management Systems.
• Certified Quality Auditor and ISO 9001/API-5CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SOPs and verify training with the workforce when changes are made
• Assist with updating and improving the cloud based EQMS system
• Internal and external process and product audits
• Daily maintenance of the quality system; occasional off-hour/weekend work
• Manage calibration system, deviations, and reporting
• Report daily and monthly Quality Index information
• Communicate quality improvements to the workforce
