Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care pharmacy team in Ohio. You will assist with filling, packaging, and stocking medications, under supervision, while ensuring compliance with safety and policy standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and KY Board of Pharmacy license, prior pharmacy experience preferred, and strong organization skills. We offer a consistent schedule, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• License with the KY Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be reliable and able to multitask.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a supervisor.
• Control drugs room experience a plus.
• Maintain floor stock and restock; remove expired meds.
• Rotate medication areas for quality control.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy standards and policies.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

About The Job

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Shift

• 1pm-9:30pm Monday-Friday & every other weekend.
