Job summary

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy serving facilities and assisted living communities. The role involves supporting the supervisor, maintaining stock, and handling medications with attention to policy and quality controls.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, KY Board of Pharmacy license, and prior pharmacy experience preferred. Weekend night shifts are offered with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Reliable and able to handle multiple tasks; good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience with controlled drugs room is a plus.
• Maintain floor stock and restock; remove expired medications.
• Rotate stock to ensure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Ensure pharmacy standards and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

About the Job

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed with the KY Board of Pharmacy required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Shift:

3pm-1:30am Friday- Monday Every weekend
